Suggested print settings
- Layer height: 0.2 mm, 3 to 4 walls, 10 to 15% infill
- Orientation: flat, with the front face on the plate
- Supports should not be needed, but check the keyhole slots in your slicer preview
The strip of water north of Manitoulin Island joins the main body through narrow necks of about 4 mm. It is the most delicate part of this model, so use extra walls and handle it with care.
Hanging
Keyhole slots are built into the back, so it hangs flat on two wood screws with a head up to about 8.5 mm and a shank up to 4.5 mm. Screw spacing is 62 mm on the 250 size and 195 mm on the 600 size. Leave the head standing about 3 mm off the wall, then slide the piece down onto the screws.
To keep the model printable, details thinner than about 2 mm are simplified and very small islands are left out. The images are computer renders, not photos of a print.
